The Mystic 60 and her reverse transom sister, the Mystic 62, combine the elegance of traditional lines with advanced design and construction to give truly effortless long-distance cruising. Both models are available with either a centre-cockpit or a pilothouse.
Those who have seen the 60/62 carry the memory of her elegant lines forever. The first 60 was reviewed by Yachting World as "probably the outstanding centre-cockpit performance cruiser available"; she went on to win the Concours d Elegance at the ARC Rally.
Yet her classic beauty belies construction that is almost as advanced as the Mystic 55/57. She fully utilises sandwich construction, uses vinylester epoxy resin and Divinycell core, has an similar 42% ballast ratio and is a superb seaboat.
The experience gained with the 55 / 57 has now been fed back into the latest 60s - we are proud of the constant evolution which keeps Mystic at the very forefront of new technology and design. The new pilothouse version of the Mystic 60 is due to be launched in October 2001; whilst in no way detracting from the timeless elegance of her classic lines, the pilothouse will bring the benefits of shelter from the elements, 360 degree vision, and an even lighter, airier saloon with greater headroom. But perhaps most of all, we are proudest of the loyalty of our Mystic 60 owners. With today s speed of change and such bewildering choice, you might think that loyalty was a thing of the past. But, in the case of the Mystic 60, you would be wrong. Most owners start to think about a new yacht having owned their existing boat for 5-6 years. Mystic owners are no different.
