"LOCHAY MAIDEN" has just come onto the market. She is the first MYSTIC 46, developed by Alan Morgan, after consultation with German Frers in 1997. The Mystic 46 was based on the Hylas 46 hull and deck moulds but with modified deck and interior layouts, rig, sails and specifications. The objective, as with all Mystic yachts, was to combine excellent sailing performance with the ability to be readily sailed short handed. "LOCHAY MAIDEN" was launched in August 1997 and exhibited by Alan Morgan Yachting at the Amsterdam Seaport Show and Southampton Boat Show in September 1997. She was based on the West Coast of Scotland before sailing to the Caribbean. She is currently (June 2003) in the Azores, about to leave for Mallorca. She was first (Cruising Class) in Antigua Race week in 2003. She has teak decks, the hull is painted with Awlgrip (Claret).
