POWER BOATING IN THE 21st CENTURY
"The fast, safe, comfortable and stylish RIB"

This 10 metre RIB is the latest addition to Scorpion s dynamic range, building on the racing pedigree evolved from successful years of competition as well as on the findings from countless hours of pleasure and endurance cruising.

This RIB has the renowned GRP, monocoque, ultra-deep V shaped hull to ensure a safe, smooth, comfortable and fast ride, especially in offshore waters where the tubes absorb the impact of the waves. Scorpions are unparalleled by any other RIB on the market.

Virtually no wood is used in the construction, which gives rise to low maintenance and long life!

Designed with the discerning customer in mind, there is a range of deep cushioned seating options available. The electrically operated helm and navigator bolster seats can be adjusted to provide the perfect seating position. Aft is an integral moulded, full width seat, which is curved around to make an extremely comfortable sociable seating area. Accessories include bimini hoods, refrigerator units and showers.

The "Ocean" style console is fitted with grab handles, storage recesses for small items, a large fully cushioned forward seat above a large GRP access door to the internal storage space with optional toilet. The windscreen has been specially designed to deflect wind over the helmsman and navigator.

The ergonomically designed instrument panel ensures that all the important instruments are readily visible. The throttles fall perfectly to hand, whilst the steering wheel is at an optimum angle. Also conveniently placed is a storage compartment to take small items such as a mobile phone, sunglasses water bottles and mugs.

The 10 metre Scorpion has been designed and constructed according to the requirements of ISO Standards 6185-3 for pleasure craft less than 25 metre.

It is CE approved, which means that this Scorpion complies with all the EU standards for quality assurance, documentation and product liability.

All materials used in the construction are of a type that has been approved by the appropriate European Organisations such as DNV and Lloyd s.

The craft are certified according to RCD regulations and are classified at design category B: Offshore (suitable for offshore voyages in wind up to force 8 where wave heights of up to 4 metre may be experienced). MCA category 2 optional.

Fitted with the twin 315hp Yanmar 6LPSTZE diesel engines and Mercruiser Bravo 1 stern drives with stainless steel propellers, the 10 metre open Scorpion, with the maximum ±700 litres fuel capacity onboard, has a range of approximately 500 nautical miles.

This luxury 10m Scorpion has been designed using experience, knowledge and computer aided design programmes. The cost for this spectacular Scorpion is from £106,750 plus VAT. Each RIB is individually crafted, being built entirely by Scorpion RIBs Limited, who will be happy to comply with personal preferences that fall within the boundaries of modern production methods.
