POWER BOATING IN THE 21st CENTURY
"The fast, safe, comfortable and stylish RIB"
Our new 10m Sports Cruiser - handles waves with consummate ease. Current World Record Holder for Round Britain record ( 30 - 50 ). An ideal RIB for the weekend away or the trip to France
The Sports Cruiser has all the benefits and comfort you would expect from a conventional powerboat but with the superb handling and soft ride for which the Scorpion is renowned. To achieve this she has a GRP, monocoque, ultra-deep V shaped hull to ensure a safe, smooth, comfortable and fast ride, especially in offshore waters where the tubes absorb the impact of the waves. Scorpions are unparalleled by any other RIB on the market.
Virtually no wood is used in the construction, which gives rise to low maintenance and long life! For total quality control Scorpion build over 90% of each RIB including the mouldings and the tubes, and on these parts there is a two-year warranty.
Designed with the discerning customer in mind, it is easy to step aboard into the large safe cockpit. There is a range of deep cushioned seating options available. The electrically operated helm and navigator bolster seats can be adjusted to provide the perfect seating position. Aft is an integral moulded, full width seat, which is curved around to make an extremely comfortable sociable seating area.
The ergonomically designed instrument panel ensures that all the important instruments are readily visible. The throttles fall perfectly to hand, whilst the steering wheel is at an optimum angle. Also conveniently placed is a storage compartment to take small items such as a mobile phone, sunglasses water bottles and mugs.
The spacious cabin is accessed through a vertically sliding roller tambour door. Immediately to port is the galley with a smooth Corian worktop, whilst to starboard is a highly polished cherry wood door leading to a toilet compartment with washbasin and shower. Forward, there is generous curved comfortable seating with a central cherry wood table. This seating doubles as two full size single berths or by using the table as an infill, one substantial double berth. An optional extra is a hanging locker in the bow.
