The Fairline Targa 34 is built for all-round, high-performance enjoyment. She has powerful offshore capability, comfortable berths, and ample water and fuel capacities. The beamy, modified deep-V hull has been designed with a generous freeboard, carried well forward, to make light work of heavy head seas. All her gasoline and diesel engine options will give a sparkling performance; the most powerful takes her up to about 40 knots. The very sociable and attractive cockpit layout has spacious seating, dining and sunbathing areas, and a cockpit drinks bar with a large top-loading fridge. The forward section of the cockpit hood forms a sun canopy. A strong transom gate leads out onto the large bathing platform, which has a long, wide-tread swimming ladder, a hot and cold shower unit, and an integral stern locker for fenders and diving gear. Belowdecks, a flowing plan with wide door frames and plenty of headroom make the cabins easy to access. The three-cabin format offers six comfortable berths. A slide-out panel converts the forward cabin V-berth swiftly into a double bed.

Performance estimates are given in good faith, but are in no way guaranteed for any particular boat. Dirt on the bottom of the boat, damage to the propellers, engine tuning, external water and air temperatures and the weight of crew, fuel and water carried can all adversely affect performance. For these and other reasons we can give no performance guarantees.
