X-442 build no40 is a standard X-442 in the 3 cabin layout she was delivered To her French owner in 1977 she was returned to the factory in 2002 and underwent a refit before being sold to her current owner in Spring 2003. All systems were overhauled and the interior revarnished and reupholstered. Electric primary winches, German mainsheet system new anchor windlass , battery charger, and GPS Raytheon plotter/radar fitted for the new owner whose plans have now changed.
The 442 designed to provide performance cruising. The design has been so successful that in 2003 one competed in the winning Commodores cup team racing under IRC at the highest level.
Constructed to the highest standards X-442’s have won many accolades including US Yacht of the year 2001. Corwynt is offered including ground tackle, warps and fenders "ready to sail away".
